Grey Becomes Her

It’s hard not to notice that the previous #OOTD blog post I made was an almost all-grey look. This time around, I decided to up the grey-on-grey action, which could not be helped given the fact that there has been too many grey pieces in my closet lately to the point that my favorite white pieces have become afraid to lose their turn on the spotlight. But not to worry, I’ve got so many pending looks that involve my favorite white clothes. I cannot wait to share them to you guys soon!

Aside from being obviously attached to grey, I found myself pretty much into maxi skirts and dresses these days. Their comfort level is incomparable! Plus, it’s such a brilliant way to look sexy without showing a lot of skin! In my closet, I have a total of five maxi skirts and they’re mostly of basic colors! I have two of them in grey (one is plain and one is striped), one in black, one in maroon and one is a pleated navy blue. I  chose these shades because they’re the easiest to pair up with other pieces and because you could never go wrong with these basic, classic shades.

I spotted this striped Uniqlo sweatshirt that had the exact same grey shade as my Forever21 maxi skirt. I could definitely say that it was a match made in heaven. To top this grey-on-grey look off, I put this grey beanie on which I’ve had since forever! Now who says you can’t be comfortable in your #OOTD without being stylish at the same time?

I was out with my sisters that day at the SMAC sale last April 7, 2016, Thursday, and it was such a coincidence for us to be wearing the same color palette! There’s nothing like a day spent shopping with my girls!
